Our Costa Rica Naranjo at a medium roast saturates the air with the smell of demerara sugar accented by a whiff of vanilla. The true prize in this coffee is the level of sweetness, hints of caramel and tropical fruit and as it cools transforms to a pleasant orange blossom flavor.
For the perfect espresso, select a medium-dark roast profile, the caramel turns to a bitter sweet flavor reminiscent of a 70% dark chocolate.
The espresso shot has a viscous texture, retaining its sweet aroma remaining bittersweet with a mellow citrusy aftertaste.
