Finjan Al Basch has been working very hard behind the scenes to keep the flow of coffee dripping throughout this global pandemic from promoting vaccination to transforming our manufacturing facilities to a contaminate free workplace.
Rest assured that these new workplace protocols will remain effective until the World Health Organisation acknowledges that Coronavirus and all its variants have been subdued, regardless of the UK governments lifting of restrictions.
We monitor hygiene hourly at all our facilities, all inspections are logged and recorded.
Finjan Al Basch takes the safety and wellbeing of its Suppliers, Staff and Service Providers that work with us very seriously.
In line with our Together as 1 values, we have completed comprehensive risk assessments for all our operations and services. This is inclusive of how our customers receive our products, our operating procedures, working practices and workplace across our entire estate.
We have identified a range of controls to manage the risk of Covid-19 cross contamination and transmission. Where the risk of Covid-19 cannot be controlled to an acceptable level, Finjan Al Basch has suspended these services and work activities.

Yes, representatives from government & the local authority make regular inspections on all our premises to ensure that we remain compliant with local health & safety as well as food hygiene & safety standards.

Our teams have worked tirelessly to provide the most accurate description of the coffee products we freshly manufacture.
All Finjan Al Basch made products each have their own individual description which includes awareness about the coffee’s origin, how its roasted and other guidance such as allergen advice and nutritional values.
Overall we try our best to be as accurate as possible so that you can go on to enjoy your coffee without ever wondering what’s in it.
Finjan Al Basch doesn’t store pre-made stock ready for dispatch. Your coffee is only ever freshly roasted once we receive order confirmation, it is then rested by our roaster for a short period before being freshly ground and packaged.
For further peace of mind, allFinjan Al Basch products have roasting dates printed on the label which is affixed to our inner packaging.
We rarely display the caffeine content of our product range as in the majority of cases, as it widely differs per product. It all rather depends on the variety of green coffee used in either a single origin or blend setting.
But as a general rule of guidance, any Finjan Al Basch product that contains Robusta will likely be richer in caffeine.
All non-capsule products: For e.g. a 250g blend that contains 50% Robusta and 50% Arabica will contain approximately: (125g x 1.3% = 1.625g= 162 milligrams (mg) of caffeine)+(125g x 2.4% = 3g= 300 milligrams (mg) of caffeine) Produces a combined total of 462mg of caffeine per 250g bag.
Whereas a 250g blend that contains 100% Arabica will contain approximately: 250g x 1.3% = 3.25g= 325 milligrams (mg) of caffeine.
All Capsule products: A pure Arabica coffee in our capsule (6g) containing 6g x 1.3% = 0.078g this equates to 78 milligrams (mg) of caffeine.
In accordance with the average caffeine content per product category based on values set by the UK Food Standards Agency:
Basch Blends, Basch By You, Pure Origin, Arabic/Turkish: All products within these categories are available in either a 250g, 500g or 1kg bag.
This weight is the gross weight of the entire product.
During your shopping experience, you have the freedom to select the desired coffee size and in each of our product pages, select the brewing tab to see an example of how many cups are likely to be brewed by weight.
Basch Pods: Each of our capsule products contain 12 pods, this quantity is clearly highlighted in each relevant product page.
We think it is safe to say all our coffee products, are very low in calories.
Therefore for all you health conscious people out there, don’t worry if your only brewing with water, each cup will contain less than 2 calories.
However if you add a spice to a personalised product, it is always advisable to check the nutritional information accompanied on all our physical product labels.

The simple answer is no. Artificial isn’t a word in the FAB lexicon.
Finjan Al Basch is an organisation devoted to ethically sourcing natural raw ingredients from all over the world and that includes our spices.
Our spices are delivered whole and are freshly ground at our facility for every order.
Afterall who wants to drink chemicals and potions.
All Finjan Al Basch products clearly state both the “Roasting date” and the “Best Before” date. The “Best Before” date is approximately 6-11 months from the date of production.
It is always best to consume your coffee products, well before the Best Before date, however if your coffee has remained perfectly sealed it will remain completely safe to consume well after the Best Before date.
The Best Before date simply acts as an indicator of optimal freshness, flavour and aroma, generally we recommend resealing our products and storing them in cool and dry areas of the kitchen to preserve and prolong freshness.
Preservatives: Finjan Al Basch coffee does not contain any preservatives, your coffee order is roasted and ground straight into a vacuum sealed kraft bag. The attached degassing valve will naturally control any CO2 that may escape during delivery.
Basch Pods: The coffee is transferred by a series of air pressurised pipes straight into a machine that packs and hermetically seals our beautiful capsules, this offers an impermeable barrier to coffee killers such as light, moisture and oxygen.
You will be able to find the coffee strength of each of our blends, capsules and pure origin varieties on their respective shop pages in the product information tab as well as in the inner packaging of your coffee product.
Personalised coffee products do not come with a strength label, as each item depending on the customers choice can alter the strength.
At Finjan Al Basch, we pride ourselves in only using the most natural ingredients whether its coffee or spices.
The coffee decaffeination process although completely natural, alters the raw state of the green coffee bean indefinitely whilst there submerged in vats of boiling hot water for long periods of time until the caffeine is evaporated.
Sadly this makes a wonderfully good natural product, kinda unnatural and in our opinion also has environmental implications attached to it too.
No. Unfortunately at this time all Finjan Al Basch products are not certified by any Halal or Kosher religious bodies.
However, we are compliant with the religious requirements of producing Halal & Kosher coffee products and therefore will be in touch with the relevant authorities for an audit and certification.
As part of our sustainable sourcing policies, Finjan Al Basch only sources the finest 100% traceable raw coffee and natural ingredients from across the world. We try our level best to purchase sustainably produced coffee from farms that have been certified by either the Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade.
However sometimes our coffee farmers are new to market and the harvest they have produced is just too magnificent and must be shared with all our valued customers.
Therefore all Finjan Al Basch products are clearly identified on their respective shop pages and on the physical, if they carry a valid certification from a respective authority.

All Finjan Al Basch coffee whether its our cardamom infused Arabic coffee’s or personalised coffee items that require a special spice blending session, are manufactured in an isolated block that’s been hermetically sealed to avoid as much cross-contamination as humanly possible.
The entire Finjan Al Basch range does not contain common food allergens such as dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, and eggs.

We like to keep our customers informed of every stage their order is at, once payment has been confirmed your order will go through many status changes until it is delivered to your door.

Blending: Your order is being prepared and packed.

We take pride in preparing your order with care from start to finish.
If something is not quite right during our post blending inspection phase, we may have to cancel or delay your order.

The currency that you will be charged in is determined by your location and will be displayed at Checkout before completing your purchase.
Certain payment methods give you the flexibility to choose your preferred final payment currency, however this only applies in countries that use dual currencies.
If your local currency is unavailable, your order will be charged in either GBP or USD by default at a competitive exchange rate.

When will you charge my card or PayPal account?
On successful completion of a Finjan Al Basch order, the value of the order is pre-authorised by the card issuer or by PayPal. We will then process your order and once dispatched, you card issuer/ PayPal will release payment to us.
In some cases, your card issuer/PayPal will take full authorisation of payment and release the funds to us within 48 hours before your item is dispatched.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your order before you have received Product(s), you are entitled to refuse the delivery of the Product(s) and we will refund you in full without undue delay and in any event within 28 days after you have notified us of cancelling your order.
You cannot cancel your order once it has been processed and dispatch.
Return Policy
When you return the Product, you must return the Products to us in an undamaged and unused condition at your expense (unless the Product is faulty or not as described) without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from informing us of your intention to return the item. Insofar as possible and practicable, the Products should be returned in their original condition and packaging.
At your expense (unless the Product/s is/are faulty or not as described), you shall send back the Products, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.
To the extent practicable, and for due process of you request, the Products should be returned accompanied by the invoice and the return form. The deadline is met if you send back the Products before the period of 14 days has expired. For next day delivery, we ask customers to place their orders before 3pm.
For UK customers, Brexit will not affect your purchases and you can continue to shop as usual.
At the same time, any relevant local taxes and duties will be added to your order at checkout, so there are no surprises and no further duties to be paid when the order is delivered.
Our international customers from countries outside the European Union can continue to shop online with no changes.
Most UAE orders are sent with Emirates Post from our warehouse. We partner with other delivery companies such as DHL, Aramex, UPS, Liban Post and more.
Your dispatch email will contain the carrier and dispatch details for your convenience.
Orders shipped to Europe and the rest of the world will be delivered by DHL.

Your designated shipping company will attempt to deliver your parcel twice, each time leaving a calling card of their attempted attempted delivery.
After that the responsibility falls on you to collect your parcel within 14 days from their logistics centre as earmarked on the postcard left at your door.
